Hey sweeties! Ever been in that embarrassing situation that you felt like spanking yourself for leaving out one or two things in your bag? There is so much that is expected of us as ladies and these are things that bring out the uniqueness in us.
Today, I will be sharing some essentials that every lady or woman should have in her closet or bag that will save you from a lot of embarrassments, and could give you some thumbs up too! No, they are not expensive and come in handy.
Come on the journey with me !
• HAIR ITEMS:
As a lady you should have a set of hair items you can call your own. Hair items such as : comb, cutting comb, hair pins, hair cream, hair net, shower cap. Hair combs are way too important items you should have. At times, when we visit the hair salon, we expect that the hair stylists provides everything we would need such as the combs and the likes. Yes, it’s true that the hairstylist should have but it doesn’t prevent you from having yours. Sharing hair combs with people you don’t know most of the time exposes yur hair to dandruff and other hair infections.
Shower caps are also essentials at the bathroom and during rainy season.
Hair net prevents your hair from looking untidy at the early stage of your new hair style.
• SAFETY PINS/ SEWING KIT:
We all have stories to tell of when we’ve had to look down and saw that our blouses or shirts are missing a button or times you board a motorcycle and on alighting you realise that your skirt is torn. A safety pin or a needle and thread in your bag will come to your rescue at that moment!
• SMALL PACK OF TISSUES:
The importance of tissue cannot be over-emphasized. You should have tissue that you can stick in your bag always. It could come in handy at those ‘’emergency sniffs’’, those times you spill a drink and need to wipe your hands or your face, those times your shoes get dusty and you just need to wipe off the dust, those times you need to wipe a dusty chair you want to sit on, those times you/ a friend has a cut, it would definitely come to the rescue.
• LIP STICK/LIP BALM/LIP GLOSS:
Save those lips of yours from dryness. Your lips would love you for it. The lip balm will also save that male folk of yours.
• BREATH MINTS OR MINT GUMS:
I’m sure you hate it when someone speaks to you after eating some solid meals with some local stew. There’s also an odour that comes from the mouth when you’ve not eaten anything in a long while. Save yourself from any embarrassment and keep this in your closet and bag.
• HAND SANITIZER:
Many times we get our hands on a lot of things, at times some of us wipe the chairs we want to sit on with our hands (that should stop), every now and then we sneeze into our hands. For these and many other reasons, hand sanitizer is an essential. It protects you and anyone that comes in contact with you from spreading germs.
• CASH:
You really don’t want to be in that situation where you need to get something so badly at a store and you open your bag and find out you don’t have any cash on you. This could be really bad you know. It’s true that at times we want to cut down spending on non-essentials but it should not be as bad as not having some cash in your purse, someone around you might also just need transport fare.
• A NOTEPAD AND A PEN:
You’re carrying a bag and you seriously don’t have a pen in that bag? Someone might just say ‘’I have a notepad on my phone’’ but what if your phone battery goes off and you just need to put an idea down, or write down something you need to get, or a friend you need to call.
• YOUR POWDER:
At times that powder you applied while rushing for work might just get wiped off after so much work during the day, so a touch on your face could brighten up your face.
• DEODORANT/ PERFUME:
This doesn’t necessarily have to be in your bag but it should be in your closet. There are some people that react to the scent of perfumes but deodorants could work for them. They just give you this super-adorable feeling and freshen you up.
You could go ahead and to the list fam! What other things do you think should be in a lady’s closet or bag? Look forward to receiving from you.
Thanks for reading.
