TOUCH in this context means a distinguished feature or a landmark achievement. Making a touch can also be likened to making an impact. There is a misconception we hold, which is,we have to be as wealthy as possible or get to a particular stage before we start making impact. However, permit me to say that is a wrong notion. Start what you want to start now, take that bold step now, make that imprint now.
Whatever you do to affect a life or a society or an environment, no matter how little it is, a touch has been felt, how well the impact is appreciated is dependent on the nature of the impact.
I will be putting up some hints to making a touch in your environment:
* See the need for a change: The fact that things have been in a way does not mean they should remain that way. Be the first person to turn the tables round. Be the first to come up with that breath-taking idea.
*Come out of your shell: We don't achieve outstanding success because we keep doing the same things the same way. Take bold steps!Do not be limited by your weaknesses, your weaknesses should push you to do more! The conventional ones don't see beyond their eyes can see. Expand your thinking zone!
*Connect with people: Dearie, you are not going to be touching trees and stones, you are going to be touching lives, so develop relationships with people. You go fast alone, you go far with people! Build a team!Share ideas with like-minded people.
*Get knowledge: Learn from people, read wide. Be informed! Sweetheart, you can't be in your little abode and expect to know that need somewhere. Ask questions. Pride wouldn't take us anywhere.The humble ones are celebrated!
*Finally, be proud of whatever you are doing. When I say whatever you are doing, I mean that positive touch you are making. Like the common saying goes '' Rome wasn't built in a day'', the little impact will turn to be a big one soon.
