Little Felix thought of how to appreciate his mum on her birthday which was the following day. He recalled
how his dad used to buy gifts for her on special occasions such as her birthdays,Christmas celebration, Valentine's days and the likes before he lost his life in a fire accident at work. He also recalled how his classmates in school used to talk about their parents taking them out to buy wonderful gifts for them.
Felix went to his mum and asked for the last token of his savings, his mum questioned him but he told her not to bothered.
Felix went to get his mum the little thing he could afford, dropped it in the small cute box his dad gave him few weeks before he died and wrote in a paper ''With Love Mum''.
He gave his mum on her birthday, Felix's mum opened the box and saw an Apple, she read the words attached to it and couldn't help the tears that flowed from his eyes. Felix's Mum threw her arms round his neck and planted a kiss on his cheek, she whispered into his ears, ''I love you son, this is the best gift I have received in years!'' She so much appreciated the gift because it was all of the little his son had he gave.
Hey dearies, here's to encourage us to appreciate every little thing given to us. We are aware it's almost the end of the year and it's the season when much is given to giving! Please do well to appreciate whatever you're given especially that which is given out of love. Do not hesitate to give out too!
