The Expression of love!

Love is more than an emotion, it's more than a feeling, it's an act, it's a walk! Love is a walk because it's an ever enduring thing, a transient thing. There is nothing
like an end to love! You decide what your love walk looks like, it all lies in your hands. Whether it's going to be a wonderful one for you or one full of strife, envy, it all depends on you.

There is a deposit of love in every man's life but you decide if you want to express it or you want to make it dormant. Maybe someone is wondering if love can ever be dormant, of course it can dear. See, it takes conscious effort to love, I aint talking about a child's play here. It's easy to say ''I love you'', very easy, but when it comes to putting it to  expression, it could be difficult when it comes to practical life situations. It's not really easy to love, yes, but with God and with your determination, you will find it easy.

How do you give expression to  love?

*Forgiveness: Hmmm, a big thing right? We cannot avoid being offended, show me a person who is never offended and I will show a super-perfect spirit! Smiles, you know why I called such person a spirit, because as long as you are a living being that's got flesh, you are bound to be offended. However, how do you take offences? How do you treat those that offend you? Do you bear in mind that you are also human and you can also make the same mistake that every other person has made? Are you aware that keeping grudges does more harm to you than the offender?Once we start seeing things this way, it will be easy to forgive others! Give excuses for people, somebody does something wrong, why not sit such down and ask why he or she did what was done?

Make it an obligation to forgive.

*GIVING: The act of love is also expressed in giving! There's joy in giving, so much joy dearie! You have the capacity to give, why not? You need not be in the perfect position to give, there is nothing too small to give and nothing too big to give! There is a law that governs giving, it's a general rule, ''whatever you sow you reap''. Giving does not have to be in form of money alone, it could be in cash or kind! You know what, giving is not restricted to those that have nothing! You can give to every person no matter the status! Make conscious effort to give!

*APPRECIATION:  Awwww, I personally could be at fault at times, not because I don't want to, but because it skips my mind sometimes! You know saying 'thank you' can go a long way, however,  the mode of appreciation  also goes a long way. Do you appreciate out of compulsion? Do you appreciate because of what somebody will say if you don't? That's a wrong motive! Appreciate because you see a need to! Appreciation could be in gestures, it could be in words, it could be in action. Nobody can resist appreciation! Nobody can resist the act of love! Appreciation goes a long way! You know there is an adage in my native language that is translated thus: ''he who appreciates the goodness of yesterday would not be deprived of today's''.
